Reddit to which email verify the account?

Depends on the domains and how you manage your browser profile/ips.

I use hotmail to create an account. But you should not create too many accounts on the same ip

For emails outlook work fine. You should use popular emails that are normally used by people as something obscure will easily be used by reddit to link all your accounts.

free emails are fine but can get a sec code if your locked out

The email address does not make your account look more (or less) legit. I used a temporary email address (which does not require phone verification) all the way up to 100k karma on my account. At that point, I realized I needed to get serious with Reddit and created an email address with GMX.

I would not use free domains as reddit is probably monitoring which domain you use for account verification.
Maybe not as much as other things like IPs or browser or post/activity frequency but it definitely has somewhat of an impact.
I would either leave account unverified or verify it at least with some outlook or protonmail.
If you have quality 4g mobile or residential proxy you can probably create outlook or proton email without phone verification.
