Did great with cb, thats why i tried teespring with the same niche. Thats a bit different, maybe my design sucks

Reddit traffic used to be great 5, 6 years ago. Not anymore, for the reasons I said.

I still make money on reddit spamming my review site everywhere. So it's working for me, maybe it isn't working with every niche.

Maybe. I do realize Reddit has some very niche specific communities. I haven't tried thousands of 'em, so there may be opportunities there. But for /r/all and the more popular subs? Forget it.

Are you sure about that because in the image I linked to the subreddit is real girls and I am not subscribed to that.

Are you thinking about the front page instead of r/all because there is a difference.

Either way, you still get porn on r/all and it can be targeted.

i just use reddit for whenever i feel like chatting about any subject with a profile. Building up my accounts quality then later i will market....

Ok, so I'm into starting a new youtube channel with a niche that I'm really an expert on so what is the best way to use reddit when promoting new videos? I'm going to upload 2-3 clips a day with my own well produced videos. Seems though that it doesn't give long retention views according to samiejg, so maybe it's only good when you start a new youtube channel? Any ideas here?

I also wonder if it's good to buy an old reddit account with lets say 1k karma? Isn't that a problem when you using an account that has bee used in US. Maybe I need to use a VPN service when posting cause I'm living in Sweden.

it's very difficult to promote on reddit. the people there are smart and tech savvy. they will eat your ass instantly if they even sense the slightest bit of promotion, advertising, etc. basically, if you aren't offering 100% free, helpful, content with no benefit towards yourself then you will be buried in downvotes

@PBNSurprise , Redditors are savvy and can tell when it's advertising, but I remember reading a thread which a redditor started about how he did with "shameless promotion". He said that even though he got called out on it, he still got visits and benefited from it. I have a feeling that this works better with some niches than others... Like if you can come up with an intriguing post title and good accompanying text (his promotion post was a text post with a link to his site, not a direct link), there'll be people who visit your site out of "angry curiosity", but the majority of them won't bother to get on your case, even if they do downvote you. This is probably an unpleasant grind of a tactic to use, trying to market to suspicious redditors, but if you do it well, it should be able to bring you results. I know that I'm a curious person, and if some guy is promoting an intriguing topic, I'll click on it like a sucker and at least check it out before rage-posting at him if I find it to be shit. Which I actually don't do - if I see it's shit, I'll x out of the tab and downvote the submission, I won't waste the time to write a post...

Ok, I'm into the music niche and have no idea if that is a safe niche to promote on Reddit.

For some niches, reddit is a gold.

But, OP rather than posting something like that in OP, why not post some Q&A your self like:

"How to increase post karma and comment karma" and answer these.

Another question would be what type of niches are good with reddit traffic?

I guess you can answer such questions.

Agreed. Back in the days i made some quick bucks on /r/jailbreak with content locker
