Reddit is introducing human verification checks for accounts that look like bots. These checks will only happen when activity seems suspicious, not for all users. They may use tools like passkeys, biometrics, or third party verification, while still protecting user anonymity. AI generated content is still allowed, but labeled bots will be more transparent.
