Since it's almost the weekend, I thought I'd share something different. I could tell you about my doubts, but I'd rather flex. Brace yourselves for the romantic posts over the next couple of days.

But for the time being, take a look at this Reddit account:

I got from 0 followers to this in just three days. I also received 3 awards on the platform.
But the golden nugget was this little subreddit I created:

It took me just three days to do this.

I was reading a post earlier, where someone said they garnered 300 followers over the course of a goddamn year! I'd say, learn more about your niche. What I like about reddit (aside from the annoying low-lifers), is that it takes actual marketing to reach an objective. It's not just technical marketing.

Once I reach my goal with several subreddits, I'd share some tips on the Jr VIP forum for registered members of BHW.

Cheers!

Congrats man! :)

It's incredible to garner so many followers in such short time. Thanks for your sharing. However, do you have any idea how to monetize by followers?
I had an experience of advertising in reddit for a week, even though I got tons of traffic in short time, there wasn't any conversation.

That’s massive! Curious to know how you made 0 to 300 in short time.

Impressive work sir, keep up the good work. Hope your efforts prove lucrative. Are you going to manage all the subreddits concurrently?

Thanks, fellow Redditor..

I think it depends on your niche, and the type of offer you're promoting. I'm not an expert when it comes to conversions. Just search the forums for posts in the past.

700?
They just followed me when I made "great posts" and got awarded.

Yup, using two accounts at the moment. Would add more later on.

Very intriguing. What's your monetisation plan going forward? I've managed to drive a lot of traffic from Reddit but conversions are terrible. I guess it depends on the niche.

Reddit is tough to advertise on. Congrats for those nice results

Oh yeah! 0 to 700 followers. :)

Thanks, fellow Redditor..

Well, I wouldn't really cry about not converting on Reddit later on (I hope so). I'd mainly rely on traffic and just your regular ads. I'd say, it's a traffic source you own. Not like the big fking asshole called Google. You own the subreddit, you own the traffic you get. Even if it's little, it's much more manageable than organic traffic. I'd scale... and not expect tons of money from this; just something to support my other endeavors. It's hard work now, easy traffic later on with minimum effort.

Reddit is the toughest indeed. Thanks, mate.

Always good to see people having some type of success on Reddit. I know that platform better than I know myself and I can easily get karma but I've always struggled with monetization.

I have an idea to monetize that I think could potentially work but I don't have time to focus on it right now. Anyway good job OP I wish you well in your endeavor!

Reddit can be really good if you know what you are doing....

I am curious...how are you monetizing your sub? I have read that offering sponsorships is strictly forbidden, and most reddit people use adblockers, so Adsense and its ilk isn’t really viable either.

You can sell sidebar links or posts on popular subs (for traffic). Also, each user now has their own subreddit (profile sub) where users with lots of followers can sell posts.
