Reddit lists the moderators of a subreddit in the sidebar. Either PM them directly or use the subreddit mod mail.
Justify to them why your site provides value within that niche and then politely ask that they add you to the sidebar.
Though if you are not oan active member of the subreddit your request will probably be denied as Reddit has guidenlines around self promotion

Hmm I was sort of think of reaching out on a personal basis first and establishing some sort of personal relationship was one alternative
