Hello, sometimes when people purchase old accounts and log in, they encounter a server error. This is not a ban or anything similar. You can resolve this issue by changing the profile picture of your Reddit account.
I opened this topic just for informational purposes.​

does the server error stop them from using the account or are they still able to post, comment,upvote ect?

When you get a server error, it's like a shadow ban where you can't do anything, but when you update your profile picture, the problem gets resolved.

I just did and nothing happens. does it take a while for the account to be active? or it becomes active instantly in your case?

Normally it is activated instantly, but you can also try it on a computer.
