So this is my personal account, not any marketing stuff being done.

A few days ago my reddit account got banned, because I'm a very law-abiding citizen. So I appealed, they didn't reply.

I logged out of the account on the browser and uninstalled the app. I restarted my router for my IP to change. I created a new account. I made a few posts, things seemed to be going well.

Then I made 4 threads on a few different subreddits. Then I see they've all been removed by Reddit's spam filters. And now any thread I make gets removed. Also when I try to post, often they tell me I'm doing that too much, and to wait a few minutes, even though I haven't posted for hours or an entire day. Also, any posts that I do make, never get any upvotes or replies or anything, leading me to think my posts may be sandboxed.

I hate saying this, but I kinda need a reddit account. It's what happens when forums are dead and you have only 1 platform where you can ask stuff and talk about stuff. Fucking centranazilied stupid ass bullshit internet of 2024. UGHHH!!!

So anyway...

Should I keep using my account and hope that they let go of the tight grip they have of the account's balls, or do I restart my IP and make a new one, and then take it easy with posting and all?

Some subs have strict account age restrictions ranging from 2 days - 30 days. The sub may have a restriction that only accounts older than a month can post.
If you’re strictly following sub rules then the issue is likely due to low Karma, there are a lot of subs that have Karma restrictions on them that require you to have a certain amount of post/comment Karma to engage in the communities.

Actually, I just opened my account URL using another browser where I'm not logged in, and it says my account is suspended.

But I get no ability to appeal, and no notification that I'm suspended on the browser or the phone app.

Fucking reddit

Can you use any shadowban checker, to find if it's still there? It looks like it got shadowbanned

You got shadow banned.

Your IP and device are now tainted.

You need anti detect browser and fresh IP.

Even if you're using it as a normal account, you still need to warm it up properly before making posts. You said you made 4 different threads on different subreddits, that's too many.

Act like a brand new user. You create an account, you browse, upvote something, expand comments, scroll. Then you graduate to making your first comment. Then another comment 10 or 30 minutes later.

Then maybe day 2 or 3 you make a post in a subreddit you were hanging out in the other day.

You can speed it up, but it's never a good idea to make 4 posts in 4 subreddits right after creating an account on any platform.

It's banned bro. If I try to open the account URL, it says it doesn't exist, could be banned.

I don't understand why I didn't get a notification of the ban, and an option to appeal, but there you go.

Tyrannical internet!!! :p

Yeah I got banned completely it seems. I didn't get a notification, no option to appeal, just banned.

My IP changes, I restart the router and get a new IP. What do you think I am, a rookie? :p

And yes of course I check my IP, then do the router thing, then check the IP again to make sure it's actually changed. Sometimes restarting the router gives the same IP again, especially if I turn it back on quickly. Best to leave it a few minutes.

I logout and uninstall the app, then install it again on the new IP and login to a new account. And on the browsers I log out and remove cookies and delete saved password.

If my lap top and phone are tainted in another way, well, we'll see...

Act like a brand new user? But I am not a brand new user. I've been online for 100 years. What you think if I go to a website I've never used before that I'm gonna behave by someone's definition of a brand new user? I immediately start spamming and cussing and fighting everyone! hahaha :D

Yeah, anyway, I'll take it easy on my new account. A bird came to my window and gave me an account that's a few weeks old, so hopefully I can actually use this sucker and not get in trouble. In fact, I'll have to remind myself to be chill and non-controversial and don't argue with anyone. I hate this stupid fucking tyrannical internet we have now. Maybe I should go to the dark web and use their reddit, and have peace of mind.

Actually, come to think of it, if they ban me for my tone and ideas, they probably ban every me for the same reason. And so you get a dead platform full of human and non-human (ro)bots. Nothing real to be seen. Yeah, dark web may be the last hope we have for freedom, I may have to visit.

I didn't mean to come off that you didn't know what you were doing, was just trying to give some general guidance.

This is where the potential issue is. Try an antidetect browser on your laptop with fresh IP.

I assume they know it's your phone still even if you uninstall the app. They collect a lot of data on your devices.

Yeah, thank you.

I'll try it once again like I normally use it. If it fails, I'll do it all again, on a portable browser, and I'll use it only there with a limited capacity.

And if they force me to do that, I'll be a much bigger asshole there!!! And they can ban me all they want, I'll keep making new accounts and be a dick!!! :p

I think you have to have some kind of factory reset or some shit to use Reddit on your phone again - with antidetect browser it would be easier but when you log in from the phone u a fucked again.

This is true. This happened to me before. It was very difficult to deal with Reddit.

You should buy another aged and karma farmed account to save time.

Doesn't matters if you changed your ip, you also had to remove your cookies, data and restart your phone if you wanted to use the same phone, additionally not using the same google accounts as you used before would be good.
