I’d suggest Quora. Getting 10 links can kick start your strategy.
As for Reddit, it’s not the best for link-building at the moment, but you can definitely post or comment with your brand name. Those are less likely to get deleted.

I post some now, but you have to be a member in reddit. Make conversations or comment. Dont use only links, be a casual everyday member over there.
