what types of sites can i submit to reddit and which ones are not a good idea.

i have a blog with a few posts on it of my own original content. its a Q & A about ppc and i recommend a product with an affiliate link. It is a legit product I am 100% behind, so the writing isnt a sleazy sales letter or anything of the sort. its more like a human to human chat about why i feel like its a good service.

can i submit this to reddit and do the reddit traffic trick you think?

or rather can i submit this to any social site w/o problems?

I want a lot of uniques to view it. i think its pretty solid, as ive already gotten $1000 off this post alone from a forum im a regular at, and i promoted it there. that is pretty much cached though and i want to get new traffic

Just look through reddit to see what kind of stuff works there.... generally it has to be something either funny, witty or cool/interesting/techy.

i have been, but i still am unsure if promoted products in a 'smooth' way (not super tacky sales letters) is still cool

Zesty I won't suggest use any post which contains affiliate link to reddit /Digg or SU
It might get your domain ban easily.
Though you can easily write a new fresh article without any affialite link and using related post send them to affialite article.
Though conversion might be less but will be very useful for many.
