Does anyone know the meaning of this? I've seen it thrown around before but never had it myself. How can I overcome it?

You're posting on a sub that you're not so active on. you're likely new. or new account?
You need to get some karma on that sub
Maybe also stop deleting posts on the sub

The rate limit goes away after a few months being active on the sub. Hope that helps

Account is 5 months old with 3.5k karma, had NSFW post history already.

Haven't deleted any posts on that sub before, problem happened with other subreddits too.

Switched proxy for my own IP, still didn't work. Not sure what it can be. Must be the account?

silly question probably, but did you try posting again 5 minutes later? Sometimes (social / forums) sites do this to prevent spam, and after the time limit they show expires you're allowed to post again

Yes, waited for the delay and had it straight after posting again
It's exactly what it says it is

An antispam measure that slows your account down. Happens to low karma and new accounts a lot.
But the thing is I've used this account for NSFW posting in the past, 20+ posts in 1h previously, just hadn't used it for like a week!

This is a false flag mate I think the server just throws this in randomly for a joke.. I get this like once in every 50 - 100 accounts or so I'm creating, and my accounts last for years ..

Spam control? I think even xenforo based forums have it so even BHW may be having that functionality, specially for new members who spam in quick succession.
