Reddit has been on my radar for a while, and getting it right is genuinely harder than most people would expect. I am hoping some of you with real experience on the platform can fill in the gaps.
What I'm trying to figure out is how to put together posts that actually gain traction, the kind that get people talking, sharing, and coming back to the thread. I want to understand what content formats are clicking right now. I've noticed that listicles are a good way to get traction, but I'm a bit tired of seeing listicles across different subreddits, as they often come across as AI-written and insincere. Beyond that, I really want to know where people go wrong. The stuff that quietly kills a post before it ever finds its audience. I'm not starting from zero here, but I know there's a lot I'm missing, the kind of detail you only pick up from actually doing it.
