Reddit post Downvotes tools / platforms / app

Hi Everyone

A competitor of my client posted a very negative post on Reddit with the brand name of a client in its URL and Tittle, got 300+ upwotes and in between 50-100 comments, and the post is now ranking on the first page of Google, for the name of the brand (in between 7 branded results).

Working holistically on the matter (building links to brand profiles on FB, IG, ....) ... and wanted also to try to downvote the post.

We already tried socialplug.io, the order is complete, but the number of upvotes has not changed. I have my doubts about this service working (they say in background for Google and Reddit rankings it will be reflected, just you do not see it .... :)) ) and would like to try some other tools.

All of you who have used any tool in last 6 months for POST DOWNVOTES ON REDDIT and got visible results (the number of upvotes decreased) please refer the tool - name it here under. I will be very happy to hear about it and try it.

On the other hand if you know any sure way or tool (that does not work so well), that will get you that post removed (and the user of that post removed or banned) you are welcome too :)

And just to add another important info about the mentioned post I want to downviote, it is now already 1 month old.
 
All platforms that offer upvotes can also offer downvotes. Write to the owners.
 
Check the posting activity on the profile of the OP of that reddit post you want downvoted...

If there are multiple threads about your client from that poster on various subs ( that perhaps didn't get so much traction) or an overall theme of negative/shitty comments you can report them directly through the post or from their profile page ( to reddit, not the mods of the sub).

Just present it as you bring harassed by a troll with an established pattern of this behavior ( take screenshots of the above and include them)....

Worked for me when I needed the same thing (only needed a try it once, might have worked as a fluke, might be an effective method - only one way to find out ) :p

How long does it take from the day you report to the decision from reddit?

Does it matter if I report id as an xy user or it is better to report it as a company profile, or a connected user to the theme?

I would say go from the angle of view as a private user being harassed on their platform... And it really depends on them how long it takes could be hours could be days.Depends how fast they move

Instead of focusing on downvotes, consider flagging the post for violating Reddit's policies if applicable and encourage genuine users to share positive content about the brand.
 
Downvoting wont make it disappear, you can try reporting it on reddit if you can prove that what the post creator is claiming is false or is a competitor.
Also get a service that will flood reddit with new posts about that brand (your/client brand).
The idea is if you have lets say 20 posts all positive ranking for the brand name.. the chances of someone to spot the negative are bocoming minimal.

Focus on the forest not the tree :)
