Reddit mass removing comment links today?

I am also wondering, has someone observed accounts with high karma that have posts with links still up?

I am thinking of testing it but don’t want to possibly have the accounts banned.

Anyone have any insight?
i done existing testing and there is an algorithm from what i can gather on how reddit decides what sticks or not

and its a VERY interesting algorithm ill say and no one could have guessed this one

and the hilarious (or scary) thing about this algorithm is all the account sellers will be wiped out
and so will be 95 percent of the spammers on this forum that dont own a subreddit cause its a pretty brutal algorithm

and there is not much you can do to resolve it sadly except know the algorithm but its not gonna help much cause still 95 percent of the spammers are gonna be wiped out even if they knew the algorithm based on what i know of how it works based on my testing

Anyone else noticing all their comments with links being removed today in mass?
Yeah, the best solution is to create your own subreddit with the similar niche and promote all your affiliate links, you can easily earn passive income from this

Yeah too bad for the small guys. It's great to be big guys definitely. I'm actually part of the mod council now, and they are now effectively turning a blind eye to me, hanging with the admin and all that, it's great!

Basically this reddit update has given me a boost instead.

You'd probably want to take over a big sub, because if a valuable sub is taken, there is a mod setting that allow the sub to turn on whitelisted domain only.

There's actually a ton of thing you can do with the subreddit especially once it's popular, ton of shit you can't do with normal account, admin will basically bless your account straight away from that filter and protect you from other spammer, it's wild.
Do reddit mods gets more protection than others? lets say if someone mass upvotes their posts and reported them

Yeah true, I left a comment on an obscure subreddit that was getting thousands of visits monthly and has few comments. And Reddit hid the comment even though my account is old with good karma.

Haha, I'm so late to the party.
I recently thought of the idea to give boosts to replies on red*it.
I started leaving replies and boosting, only after some time I noticed in incognito that they're shadow banned.
I could've continued adding comments without knowing the're gone.
Red*it owners is a bunch of assholes.

Everything has a window of opportunity and forum spamming was more lucrative then reddit for a few years. reddit's golden age is over
Yea, it's sad always coming late when the party is already ended. Only if you had a way to see those opportunities.
Those rich greedy fuckers don't even give a chance to small guys, they wanna suck up everything up to a cent from you. "Buy our ads, or get the fuck away"

dont do that bro, put the link in your profile page, spamming it is a red flag, tried it before, sometimes it works sometiems not

It seems all of the top social sites are upgrading there systems to fight spam and AI content. I guess they are been forced to do so by google wheeling the big stick as usual!
