I have at least 10-20 Reddit inactive accounts with email access but website is giving login error. I tried reset password , even with new password i am still getting the same error which is wrong password. Tried on RDP, VPN, Mobile same error. Anyone know what happened to these accounts.

Do you receive 'wrong password' error while you are sure that your password is correct?

If not, what error message are you facing ?

And had you verified the accounts with your email addresses ?
yes my credentials were saved in my browser but i still got the incorrect password error. And yes email is verified that is why i was able to get reset password link but even after resetting i am getting the same error which is "incorrect password".

You need to message Reddit admins if you are still receiving 'wrong password' error even after resetting password.

It's called a soft shadow ban. The password is correct, you just cant login. Can reset the password - but it still won't work.

You can try contacting reddit, but low chance they will help out.

This happened to me on my 5+ year old dormant throwaway account.
