Reddit Local SEO - What is the impact?

I run a local business and I wonder how effective reddit comments and posts are for boosting SEO. Is this something more geared towards ecom? I'd love more clicks on my local google profile but just curious if reddit is a good choice.

From my experience, Reddit doesn’t really boost local SEO directly like GMB optimizations do. It’s better for awareness and trust than rankings. For local clicks, Google profile work usually gives more consistent results, while Reddit can help only if you’re active in location-specific subs and not pushing links.
 
Reddit can likely bring some quality local leads for you, its impact on your SEO by itself might be pretty minimal. Everything is of course relative to how competitive your market is.
