Reddit is very strict and stressful

Have been trying to create a community on reddit, note the community is about football contents, the next thing I saw was my community has been banned without knowing what makes it so.

Now, I tried to edit my profile name to exact name like my website, after editing the name, Reddit couldn't update it, was still displaying the former old name.

How do y'all make it through Reddit?

Yeah Reddit’s tough lately especially with anything that feels even a bit promotional. Once a username is set you can’t change it so that’s why the update didn’t work.
If you're trying to grow a football community, try posting good content in related subs first, build trust and karma, then slowly introduce your own subreddit again. Are you linking directly to your site or using a buffer like a blog or content hub first? That can help too.

I am linking it directly to my site but not focusing much direction there. I just wanted to build a community first but the hold thing got banned. Even the contents I post on other community doesn't reflect the moment I click post.
 
Reddit can be strict with new communities. Start slow, follow content rules closely, and use aged accounts or tools like PVACreator to avoid instant bans and build trust gradually.

Yeah reddit can be harsh. they ban stuiff quickly without getting warnings- super frustrating.

its also done by AI, so they randomly ban you for it and sometimes no reason at all. bannings from someone reporting you doesnt seem to be large share of the current bans.

The promotions and links should appear natural . If you make a comment that looks helpful and add your website or link there, it can stay longer. It will take time to learn this.
