I made some really basic bots that have been clicking the same places, hundreds of times per day for months now. I was a little worried at first because I thought surely this would be a flag but still going strong.
I introduced this post by saying... we created an account with a bot and sent 10 comments using the bot without any bans..
Yeah but I don't trust newbies, even less when they come and say "hey guys I just found a method to bot reddit". Sorry bro, I don't trust what you are saying, sounds like a sales thread to me.

Yup once you hit highest, your acc is pretty much immune to bans
I work manually and still get the same percentage of bans as those using bots. Others who also work manually also see the same thing. It seems it's something else.

Personally, I advise against buying accounts until you can work with accounts created by yourself. Purchased accounts are much more fragile than those you create. Keep in mind that a created account retains its fingerprint, while a purchased one changes it, so it always requires warming up.
Avoid WhatIsMyCQS, it’s a very dangerous tool. I see it as an account saying to Reddit, "I’m not sure about what I’m doing." I believe that tool, being part of Reddit, leads an account to be monitored
Here’s what I gather from your post:
Important thing to note is that subreddit mods can now use Reputation Filter to auto-remove comments and posts from accounts with low CQS score. I have +5year verified accounts with thousands of karma points but my CQS score was low so I can't post on certain subreddits.
1. Most subreddits require minimum karma and age amount to post, so while yes you won't be banned, your posts will be hidden.
My accounts keep getting banned after the very first comment, even though the comments are relevant and contain no links.
No matter what I do, my accounts always get banned after the very first comment. I’ve tried everything—scrolling, upvoting posts/comments, subscribing to subreddits, searching for different topics, clicking on results, etc. Yet, as soon as I post my first comment in an SFW subreddit, I get instantly banned.
Most likely it's your browser fingerprint and/or your IP.

Yeah, true, but something like this can be bypassed by slowing down the bot enough. For example: consider how a 65 year old who isn't very familiar with using a computer would use a mouse, versus someone who is used to using vim, and just uses the keyboard, versus people who use the TAB key to go from field to field...There's a lot of variation, and the only thing that matters is that it's slow enough to count as being human.
