Hey, I am a newbie here, and I tried to do long tail keyword target. I wrote an article with KC 18 on long tail pro on my site, it ranked at about 50th place on google with about 20 views for about 10 days. Then I submitted it to reddit, got 52 upvotes and 1k views according to google analytics, the rank jumped to 11th place. However there are a few things I really don't understand.
1. according to the wordpress, i only got like 30 views on that post since I posted on reddit, I am not sure what makes this difference compared to Google analytics. E.g. I used to drive traffic from wikipedia whence google analytics and wordpress gave similar view count.
2. sometimes my website says "resource limit is reached" and seems like the entry processes are full (limit is 10)
3. The traffic came are mostly direct traffic (70%) and the rest are social. Those traffic has very high bounce rate, about 85%.
I wonder whether someone can explain these phenomen.

You need better web hosting. I suspect what happened was that when your post became popular on reddit, you got a lot of traffic that your web host wasn't able to keep up with. What are you using in Wordpress for your analytics? It's generally a good idea to go with Google Analytic's statistics because they are much more accurate. As for the bounce rate, well that's self-explanatory.

I guess the wordpress page views is from either the theme or wordpress itself. It has been there showing on every post since I started the site

ok my site is now down, the resource limit thing doesn't stop now
