any suggestions on how to stop reddit from consuming so much data? it's using about 100mb every 2 minutes at the moment which is completely unusable when paying per gb.

i'm running a reddit account on a static ISP through dolphin anty browser.

all tips are appreciated.

Thanks.

Use chrome extension and block all media content using wild card

Use the low bandwidth version of the site, saves you so much data
old.reddit.com
I also use pi-hole to kill data sucking ads
thank you , this is the one

Have you checked that the request actually goes to Reddit and are not made by some other resources in your PC?

You could use the browser dev tools or install Fiddler and see to which server domain the traffic goes.

Block all videos/images, even then browsers will use far more data than automating requests.

issue my VA is having is uploading photos on old Reddit. doesn't seem to be an option unless using imgur or some other hosting platform.

Oh yeah, the old reddit didnt have a good image sharing system yet. Pretty sure every porn marketer was botting old reddit tho so there must be a way

This! I also use old.reddit.com and it reduces usage. Pi-hole or any other adblocking solution will help a lot too.
