Is it possible to scrub reddit comments from a deleted account? By that I mean, remove them from coming up in a google search based on the username? Thanks in advance

Yes, you can, use reddit API if you are a mod

I'm just a dude. Not a mod. But id gladly pay to never have my old username come up in google searches. In hindsight, I made a mistake not deleting everything before closing account. None of it is bad and probably wouldn't warrant a mod giving a shit but I'd like to get it gone some how some way...

No need to pay anything, PM me your reddit username

Seriously? I can't express how much grief you could save me if this is possible.

If you can accomplish this I'd def contribute to the Xmas beer and snacks fund..lol...

Only issue is I discovered this site trying to find answers and can't dm yet. I need to post maybe 13/14 more times apparently. If you PM me am I able to reply I wonder?

Like I said there is nothing bad posted. I don't even care if I have to post the name right here for a few minutes for you to get it then delete it if there is no way for us to talk thru pm

Once an account is deleted on Reddit, the comments and posts associated with it are typically removed from the site. However, Google may still cache those pages for a while. To remove them from search results, you can use Google’s "Remove Outdated Content" tool, which allows you to request the removal of cached pages. Keep in mind, it may take some time for Google to update their index and reflect the changes.
