Personally can't see it being worth the time, you're getting paid from gold people give you. It doesn't seem to be showing up on mobile but my Reddit account has like 12k karma with thousands of comments over the last 5 years and I think I've gotten a total of 200 gold in that time.
Have you tried applying?

There's no reason to waste my time applying if over 5 years I've gotten 200 gold. That's like $2. Applying and getting approved doesn't magically make people give more gold.
