Under account preferences, you likely have "sort comments by" set to something other than the subreddit default.

The comment order can change depending on whether you’re logged in the sorting option or even personalization.

It depends on your selected mode, you can change it by tapping the sort option on your phone or click the drop down that says "best" and select what suits you on your browser.
