Hey guys, I got my Reddit account banned in 2023, whatever accounts I make get instantly banned. I was living in India back then and now I’m in the US. Will I be able to use Reddit again for chatting and commenting?

Try switching up a device and create an acc with a fresh IP on which no other accounts are running (or have been created) - if you manage to get an account running successfully then you know that your other device’s fingerprint has been flagged and accounts are getting shadowbanned.

Are you using the same phone? If so it will probably be banned again.

Yes, I have like seven accounts in one phone, all of them cannot post in any community or subreddit, can’t DM anyone
 
Create account and let them getting old. Algo is shadow ban your account because you're a new user

if you were using a VPN, that most likely was the cause, or you suddenly changed locations, ip from india to usa. since your acc was banned like 2 years ago, i assume they were all banned at once in india, or once you got back to usa?
 
You need a new IP urgently...you can either buy a mobile proxy or use your own 5G internet connection.

Just avoid VPNs, low quality proxies, flagged IPs, etc. Your device is also potentially blacklisted
 
make sure you never access your new account from a device where your previously banned accounts were used.
If yes, then uninstall browser and reinstall it as a fresh piece and start using it.
dont start posting/commenting from day 1.

I bought a new Samsung laptop in USA and I thought opening a Reddit account since it’s never been used for reddit but I added my google profiles to chrome and today when I tried to login in to make new account it allowed to make a new account but I’m bot able to send a DM to anybody

change ip address and use new device and you should be good to go
 
If you're still using the same phone, there's a chance you'll get banned again.
 
Yes, you can use Reddit again, but you need to avoid the old patterns. On a new device, clear cookies/cache, use a clean IP (residential/VPN) and new credentials. Don't reuse old usernames or emails. Also, start slowly and don't be spammy. Good luck!

What you mean by clean ip?
 
Its probably your device fingerprint that was banned. Try using other devices.
