I thought reddit track IMEI, SIM serial number, or MAC address for ban evasion but all are myth.
Because of OS level privacy blocks : Starting with android 10 and Apple iOS, regular apps downloaded from the app stores are fundamentally restricted from reading non resettable hardware information.

Reddit collect only IP Address History, Resettable Device IDs & Tokens ( For android Device id is Advertisement ID, For iOS is Apple's Apple's IDFA and Android token means Reddit App data , iOS is called Keychain )

If you use Browser for reddit then reddit also tracked Browser Fingerprinting for ban evasion.

If you ever got banned on Reddit don't be afraid to create new account.
Just clean the clear cache and uninstall the reddit and reset the Android tracking id.

Same for ios directly uninstall the Reddit app and reset the apple's IDFA and create new account.

Don't use the same email address you previously got banned.

Some extra information here :

Account used only in virtual environments will 100% ban one day, Browser based account are also chances are same.

Use Jb iPhone with Crane as Keychain Seperate is available on Crane.

For Android use use : Work Profile inbuilt in Android

Android is different than iOS crane even after root.

Windows , Macbook users : Use Cloud phone that can bypass intregrity of playstore.

Recently I found Method CQS signal that can increase CQS atleast Moderate to High.

Already test I will breakdown that too in upcoming post

Good breakdown. I still would not assume resetting the ad ID alone gives you a completely fresh device though. There are probably way more signals involved.

This is things high confidence the Reddit Ban Evasion machine and there many things they can see in back log...

Also I want add that when we browse reddit app on android we click some link and that open from reddit so for WebGL can be same ever can't reset so you can add some privacy focused browser as your primary browser like FireFox Focus : No Fuss browser.

Change ip of phone flight on for 1-2 min then off and if used proxy then rotating ip will change ip address.

Don't join same subreddit you recently got ban and start comment and posting.

how to reset android tracking id
Reset advertisement ID

Go to Privacy and Security
Then privacy control
Then you see ads , click that you see reset and delete advertisement id , reset the advertisement id that's it.
For WebGL you can use any privacy focused browser as primary browser and Android.

Same for iOS

after this can we evade bans?

No it's so simple you have change ip and too. Don't evade immediately you have build , make new account and interact with other subreddit then after few days you can post and comment in same subreddit once you got permanently banned.
Make should you use same gmail phone number to signup , make you don't login the same account in reddit.

You're right about the OS limitations, but browser fingerprinting is where most people get caught. Reddit tracks canvas, WebGL, fonts, screen resolution and all that even if you're not using the app. Clean cache and reset IDs helps but if you're managing multiple accounts you'll want proper fingerprint isolation. Pigbam uses GoLogin for that and residential proxies so each account looks like a different device. Or you could do it manually with something like Multilogin but that gets expensive fast.

been running aged accs for years, account behavior is literally everything. all the device resets and fingerprint isolation mean nothing if you come in hot with unnatural activity. gotta let the account sit and build karma organically before hitting the target subreddits

Good write-up. OS level hardware ID restrictions are real and most people overestimate what apps can actually read at the system level these days, reddits algo is no joke.

Digital Fingerprint is nothing but a combination of all things I have mentioned. Google don't give right information.

On android you can only manage 4 users because on android there no apps can do clone that works.

On iOS with Jb iPhone with Crane you have unlimited clones you run limited just use proxy for each account different isp proxy. You do data isolation, keychain seperate what crane already have it.

The app and browser can behave very differently here a setup that looks clean on one may still leave plenty of history on the other

the interesting part is how much detection happens outside the obvious device identifiers most of that is probably invisible to the user
