I’m exploring Reddit as part of my SEO strategy, mainly to build backlinks and drive some niche traffic. I know Reddit links are mostly nofollow, but I’ve heard they can still have SEO and indexing value if done right — not to mention the traffic boost.

Yes, Reddit links still help! Just keep them natural, mix them into real discussions, and avoid over-promotion. Niche subreddits work best.
 
No SEO juice from the link itself, but the referral traffic can boost signals hard.

Nice post! Reddit can bring in good traffic and help with indexing if done carefully. I’ve noticed that dropping links in helpful comments works better than posting them directly, and subreddits like r/SEO and r/SideProject are more open if you engage first.
 
Yes, those Reddit links can give your rankings a nice little boost, but you gotta make sure you're posting stuff on there that's actually worth people's time. That's the key to keeping those links working for you and staying relevant.
 
Of course they work. Create your own subreddit(s) and place there whatever link you want.
 
some reddit links are do-follow. i concentrate on them only. nofollow is not worth unless the subreddit has huge traffic that you can pull to your money-site
 
Yes, It is still worth it. Not only for backlinks it can provide sales too.
