Reddit api for posting

Hi guys has anyone managed to get access to creating an app for reddit api? I need secret key etc for my bot but to get this from reddit I need to register an app with a url etc..

This seems to be a barrier can anyone shed some light on getting the api creds from reddit

You make an api access for a script. You can write whatever in the url box.
 
You go to reddit.com/prefs/apps -> click "create another app..." -> Fill it out in whichever way it makes sense, probably select a script, website URL does not matter -> then click "create app" button and you'll get your secret key and client id (just under app name). You can find youtube videos on this process as well. You have to use a custom user-agent to communicate with their API.

Goto https://www.reddit.com/prefs/apps/
Create an app and all the information you need is there.
 
you need a refresh token as well which you have to obtain differently as far as I know
 
Don't forget the new rules.

Reddit got there ai to ban and the admin Controll it
