Hi guys.

Is there someone who tried Reddit ads for their Dropshipping store? If yes, did you get any conversions or good results? I am interested in testing with a small budget to see if I can get some results.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and advice.

Reddit is probably one of the most critical and intelligent user base you can find on social media - especially with dropshipping, you probably should spent your money elsewhere

I sugest you do a good subredit analysis - check what type of people post and comment there, and if it match you target audience, then go for it.
Also regarding audience being critical and intelligent - it’s kind of true, but it depends on subreddit. Take u/illegalLifeProTips - huge audience. Intelligent or critical? Nowhere near.
And on Top, if you are running a reputable business, why would that be an issue? If your product does solve something , and stands in line with it’s competition, you are good.
In summary, it’s definitely worth a shot if you ask me. Reddit users are buyers, that’s for sure.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions and recommendations. Your words will really help me, I'm sure.

I tried to set up a campaign to see what type of settings I have, but as I saw there I don't have much options. The interests I can target are very broad and I didn't find any subreddit targeting or something like that. Maybe I need to check better or even contact their advertising team to give me some help and tips.

Well, Reddit Ads will give you very low CPM and CPC. It is very cheap to advertise there. About conversions, some longer time ago when Free plus Shipping was still allowed, I got decent orders from this site. But nowadays only clickers and no buyers. The problem is, interest targeting is way too broad and many interests not available. Subreddit targeting is better, but also some smaller and very active subreddits are not targetable.
So I would say it depends on your product, if you are able to target an active and engaging subreddit you are good to go. But don't try to rip off or scam on reddit, people are way too clever there.

How did it go?

Did you make a profit from advertising on reddit?

Well at that time my Facebook Ad Account was banned and that's why I was interested in trying Reddit Ads. I created the campaign and I was ready to launch it, but my Facebook Ad Account was unbanned, so I stopped the campaign on Reddit.

I heard pros and cons about Reddit, but I think it may be a good shot. Of course it depends on the product or service you want to sell.

i tried reddit ads for Ecomm/ Dropshipping, results werent great.
Facebook is KING, Google as well, no need to reinvent the wheel,
for starters with lower budgets Snap ads work as well, and Tiktok ads
alternativley Native ads def work, the bigger native platforms have tons of free updated resources/ mini courses
