Hello,

Has anyone here tried advertising on Reddit? It seems like if you know the culture of Reddit, and really make ads based on that, you can do fairly well.

It also seems like a lot of the ads are for mobile games.

Thoughts?

No experience with redditt advertising here, but the communities there are so huge that if you target your ads right I think it would be hard to go wrong. let us know how it goes!

Reddit Ads (their in-house platform) is a joke. That being said, creating engaging content that hits Redditors close to home can be extremely lucrative.

Yeah, Reddit ads aren't good.

Super cheap for list building.

many have failed in reddit ads and many more will fail because reddit is a different beast that any other ad network.

reddit's culture is unique and different.

You will also see unique ads on reddit, it also has a huge early adopter audience.

The messaging has to be different, you can't just copy/paste the CTA's and creatives from your competitors who are on google or facebook ads.

Reddit demands uniqueness and rewards accordingly.

Please research your sub-reddit carefully before your choose to target it with your ads.

All the best :)
