Since Reddit has become much harder to promote on organically, I’ve switched to running Reddit ads. Although the results haven’t been great so far, I still think it’s worth investing in. If you’re new to Reddit advertising, I recommend running a few small test campaigns to evaluate their effectiveness before committing a larger budget.

As @H2O Agency has stated the best and fastest way to advertise on reddit is ads. They give you results very fast when you use them.

The best way to advertise on Reddit is to understand your target audience. Instead of selling directly, give people a benefit. Instead of just advertising, share interesting content on Reddit. Use the Reddit Ads Manager to target subreddits that are similar to your topic. Make your ad look like a normal post so people don't see it as spam. Interact with people in the comments. Gain the trust of the community. Try to provide them with real benefits. This is the key to success. Start testing with a low budget and see which subreddits are giving good results, then scale up.
I think the best way is to target people and share interesting and useful content. Reddit has its own advertising system called Reddit Ads, from there you can run your post as an ad. You can decide which city, which age group and which group i.e. subreddit your ad should appear in. This method is the best and safest. A good and continuous effort can help you build your confidence and get the best circle.

The best results usually come from native style posts in relevant subreddits rather than pure ads. Reddit Ads can work if u target tightly, but I know some still get better ROI by building real discussions. Reddit users spot promo quickly mate

Reddit advertising is one of the best SEO (and AEO) methods currently available. Personally, strategically placed posts and comments have brought me more success than running ads.

If you have the budget, run Reddit ads in subreddits your target audience frequents. If you don't have much budget, use your brand account to engage in relevant threads and subreddits without promoting directly, offering helpful advice to gain visibility and brand awareness. Create a subreddit for your own brand and post consistently there to improve seo inside Reddit.

Start by finding subreddits where your target audience spends time. Share useful posts and join discussions before promoting anything. If you use paid ads, test a small budget and see which audience responds best.

Honestly, I'd start with a subreddit where people are already interested in what you're offering. There's no point paying to show ads to people who don't care about the topic. Try a small campaign first and see if anyone actually clicks or buys before spending more.

I’ve tried a few Reddit ad campaigns, but they didn’t work well for me. I think you should test it out first and see how it goes.

The best way is to start small. Pick a few relevant subreddits, run a low-budget test with Reddit Ads using community targeting, and write your ad like a useful post instead of a sales pitch. Also don't skip the organic side because genuinely helping people in those communities while following the rules builds trust that paid ads alone can't.
Could you please tell me in more detail about soft comments and how you can get traffic from them if they already contain links?
