Reddit Account with 60K Karma?

I was just going to sell it, I figured I could make a quick buck but seeing as their going for $500+ I'm now curious as to wtf people are using them for.

Not only has the account been on the front page, it has had the #1 post on reddit.

I honestly just use Reddit for personally use so i never thought the account had any actual value.


What can be done with this account?

I disagree with this notion. What gets you the traffic is the upvotes, not the karma. And most people when they upvote they aren't drilling down to discover OP's karma.

... not really... I mean if you post something people are interested in you can definitely send a lot of traffic to a site, but its not like you need an account with 60k karma to do that. You could do it with an account you create today.

I use reddit regularly and the only time I even look at a username is if one of the comments mentions something about it. So if I'm not even looking at the usernames Im certainly not going to go look at how much karma the user has. Paying $500 just seems like a waste of money
