Hi everyone,
I’m facing a strange issue with a Reddit account. When I try to load the profile or perform basic actions, it keeps showing a “server error.” There’s no clear message about suspension or ban, just constant errors. Has anyone experienced this before?
Is this usually a temporary Reddit issue, or does it indicate a shadowban or account restriction?

Hey welcome to the Reddit,
Showing "we had a server error" issue in an account is Reddit's way to tell you that your account is gone and it isn't coming back. And from last 1 and half year what i have learned is that this "server error" issue is not temporary.
And from last 5 6 months It has become even more strict. Every month it start a wave of banning accounts and communities. Even in past week I have also lost my 7 8 accounts with good Karma approx 5k each and the age of the accounts was more than 5 years, along with 5 communities with 10k+ members.

So in short Server error means your account is dead and don't waste your time in getting it back. Move forward and grow another account, That's what I am doing.

I've have this happen every now and then and it was server side.

I have been faced many times, but never account suspended, but it regain as normal, It is really caused sometime server error,

Are you sure you're not shadowbanned? In my experience, the moment you click on your profile on non-mobile and get a "Server error" (and no other errors/indications), it 100% means you're banned. Can't open the profile in another browser, and the appeals page is accessible.

Yes, I’ve faced this before. In my case it was a temporary Reddit-side issue—cleared cache/cookies, logged out and back in, and it fixed itself after a few hours. Sometimes it also happens due to rate limits or VPN/IP issues, so try disabling VPN and wait a bit before logging in again.

Most likely, you just need to change your proxy. If that doesn't help, then your account has probably been blocked.

It's either a temporary issue like your current ip or cache, could also be your account being banned.

Shadowbanned. Try and look up your username on a private tab, if it doesnt show up you are shadowbanned.

Server error loop usually means shadowban or temp lock not a site bug. If it lasts more than a day the account is cooked.

Account is banned : wrong ip like servers, proxy or vpn or also too much fingerprints on your multibrowser

I think account is banned.
You can try create others account same mail, after deleting this account.
