Last week I warned about Auroracoins' excellent rise from $3 to $12 in just a matter of hours. Less than 48 hours later AUR reached $70 per coin at a volume of U$ 1 million per day on average.

So if you had bought U$ 10.000 at U$ 3 on Feb 27, a couple days later you'd have U$ 230.000 - yup, 230 GRAND in 48 to 72 hours. The traded volume during the past week allowed for that amount.

Aurora seems like an interesting investment, but it'll be airdropped to all Icelanders in a few days, so it's very risky right now.

Now I'm back with another totally unscientific gut feeling based prediction for all Black Hats : it's called Reddcoin.

Not Redcoin, but Reddcoin, with two D's. It's a social media tipping coin aimed at Twitter, Reddit(this is where the two D's come from, I think), Facebook and other social media.

The mining has gotten a lot more difficult the past 24 hours - which is an early sign of demand for the coin.

Wish all BlackHats excellent trades!

Alright, I looked into it, but I still don't understand what Reddcoin is offering that Dogecoin doesn't already offer. Reddcoin's USP is that it is the Social Tipping Currency. Hasn't dogecoins been trying to achieve this for the last few months now? What makes you think that this currency is going to take off?

Thanks for the thread and specially clarify this is RedDcoin not Redcoin. Hope its going to up.

OP, I think I get the method now. Buy a bunch of a random unpopular coin, then post on some public forms so more people buy, driving up the price. Then when the threads slow, sell.

Off to make my journey thread!

All the altcoins are a high risk investment, so noone should take any advice blindly. This community is made up of experts, everyone in here can judge whether to buy or not. This is my hunch for the next few weeks/months. I think Redd is currently "unpopular" as you said but it has a nice community and potential.

Some speculators are buying and dumping like you say, but others are holding for the long run. I'm not advocating either strategy, you're free to either take the advice or not. Good luck.

Sounds like a plan.

After researching even more, I do believe this coin has potential to go much further then dogecoin will ever go. Dogecoin was cute, but way to cute to be anything remotely serious to the general public. I believe Reddcoin might in fact bring awareness to cryptos for the general public, and not in a "oh look at that doggy!" kind of way.

SeanAustin, that was part of my assessment as well. Reddcoin is a serious project, whereas Doge is kind of a joke really. Serious investors will probably look at Redd in a different way.

Their community is currently about 1/10th of the doge community. Once it gains some steam it'll become better known.

Well, I'm hoping it does - I'm putting my money where my mouth is ;)

This is what we call "PUMP and DUMP" method.

This just seems like a classic pump and dumb scheme. This worked in 99 and works now for these cryptocurrencies. I guess history likes to repeat itself. I'd recommend going low investment, don't get greedy, these things can go up like crazy then crash when someone cashes out.

no offense dude but by now you should have an idea that these digital coins aren't meant for cashing it out else there would simply be chaos, the original idea was to use it as a diversification (which is kind of failing atm), but nevertheless we can hope that crypto-currencies are structured more uniformly

Ya I mined reddcoin about 2 days ago and got about 150k coins, it looks good. To me it's all about the devs and the community and then you have the lucky ones like auroracoin and others that shoot up for a good pump then fall back down. But doge and redd can both exist and have their own uses.

My favorite alt coins right now are:

Dogecoin
Mintcoin
Vertcoin
Darkcoin
Reddcoin

They all have some good strengths and potential. A lot of people talk a lot of crap about all the alts coming out but there is some good money to be made if you play it right and more and more people are getting into it, should be a fun ride.

These altcoins are being traded several 100K U$ per day. The volume is not entirely bad. The market cap is sorta bad metric because you can basically print a billion coins and come up with some fraction of a penny value. But the volume is indisputable, they're being traded.

As long as altcoins are traded, they've got value. We don't know what value yet....but if there's trade, there's value.

Will seriously look into this and i just bought 50k dogecoins 2 weeks ago.

Reddcoin has been something I've been following closely since it was first announced in just a month or so they have a tip bot for reddit, twitter and have just announced the beta for viewers on twitch.tv and justin.tv to tip whichever steamer they want through chat

I don't really like investing but I still keep track of the prices, potcoin is the way to go. If you want something really long term try feathercoin, it's made by people from oxford.

Hey I am interested in this, but where can I buy Reddcoin or the other you have mentioned? I can't mine any because my computer is not powerful enough. :( I know where to go to buy bitcoins etc. Anyway links would be helpful. Thanks mate.
