What do u guys think is the best way to do recurring payment month after month automatically?

One way is to use paypal which has this subscription option so it can be done, but some of us don't want to use paypal because we are weary that if they shut down or freeze our account, the whole payment system is in limbo and we cannot accept anymore payment for possible 6 months which pretty means your whole site can be closed down.

Any real solutions ?

Why would paypal freeze your account?

Well, for one, they can earn interest on ur freeze money for 6 months, but if u are real curious, go type gaypal sucks " in g*oogle and read the stories.

Erm..find a payment gateway???

erm..thanks for contributing greatly.

You can use paypal for recurring payment but you must pay for $30/month if i remember. My friend use it on his membership website and have no issue until now. As long as you are paying i think paypal will not screw you. Hope it helps.

Use authorize.net? They have a nice API that lets you manage all that. I just built a recurring subscription site using their API.

PM if you are interested in taking action on it.

I use paypal with one of my membrship sites since 2003 without any problems. I think that you should have good customer support and when they ask for refund or charge back... give them their money back asap.

I have few problem customers, but paypal newer ask me any questions if I refunded money. Some people are just stupid. It is no mater whatever you do, they just don't get it. Give them money back and don't argue with them. I am talking from my own experience.
