Recurring billing system?

I have been looking for a recurring billing system that I could use on my site.

What is a good one to use?

I was using PayPal but I switched to Authorize.net. I have a guy I can hook you up that got me approved with if Authorize.net is something you would be interested in.
 
I just use paypal for rebills since i use it for everything else too
 
but im actually going to go into a business face to face and attempts..So, paypal would just be dumb. I need to be able to accept credit cards.

Plus, Im sure paypal charges a percentage of each transaction.
 
Everything charges per transaction. Credit cards are worse because you have to pay a monthly fee on top of that. If you have an iPhone, you can get a small swipe machine that will hook up to it and you can swipe cards from anywhere and have them digitally sign it on the iPhone.

If you are just starting out, I'd suggest something that doesn't charge a monthly until you can get some business going unless you are sure you can easily make up the difference. Nothing worse than starting a business and have to keep coming out of the pocket for upkeep.
 
Paypal they are the simplest i have found. i like them when im selling certain products, This great for cashflow!

Try 2checkout.com. They are easy to get accepted, you can accept all sorts of cards + Paypal and you can do recurring billing. They cost a little more than Paypal, but are well worth it as you don't have to worry about getting your account limited or any other crap Gaypal can come up with.
 
Does Paypal have any kind of "white label" option where you can use them with clients but the client does not necessarily know its paypal?

Not that I know of. You really want a merchant account if you want to accept credit cards.

Does anyone know of a subscription billing system that works with amember where you do not have to create a page?

We use paypal but need an alternative.

If its face to face and you have signed documents just get a merchant account from your bank.
 
what if i just use a recurring billing php script? and just have it linked to my bank account...?

Paypal allows you to accept credit and debit cards from people without accounts and even e-checks from these people if you choose to allow it...

Also every company charges fees, that's how processing companies make their money...
