Recurring Billing Setup Question

I'm looking to integrate one of my membership sites with Clickbank and I'm looking through their recurring billing documentation and have a question from you experienced folks.

When you create a recurring billing product in CB, it requires you to enter a "Duration" (how many rebills). Is there a way to set an indefinite amount of rebills? i.e. if I enter 0 will it keep the billing running indefinately?

I have the same question, in documents it says e. g. 2-99 so I guess 99 is the best option?

I spent a bunch of time searching around on this after posting the question. The best answer I could find was they allow 99 monthly charges in total, including the first payment, so you can set 98 rebills max.

That's roughly 8 years that you can rebill somebody for in their system which is pretty decent.

I think I`ll use 2checkout rather than clickbank, seems a bit better solution, did you also consider it?

Well to be honest I wanted a payment processor that has an affiliate network attached to it so we could get affiliates promoting our site without having to worry about the accounting side of things. 2Checkout doesn't have an affiliate system, and when it comes to recurring billing affiliate payouts it's really hard to find a software platform that will manage it well.

We've benched it for now, I'm looking at the different affiliate software platforms that are out there and how easy it will be to integrate recurring billing with them such that an affiliate will get credit for all rebills.

I haven't messed with it yet, but RegNow also has a recurring billing option. RegNow is typically used for selling software, so I don't know how good of a match it would be for your product.

Upside to RegNow: It has a lot of affiliates.

Downside to RegNow: Not as many as ClickBank.

I sell some software through RegNow and they're ok. Not stellar. But they do some neat things if you're selling a software product that I like (such as embedding affiliate codes directly in trials).
