Hello BHW users,

Last week my personal FB acc has been disabled because of old posts being reported on a Facebook page I didnt even control anymore. I don't expect to get the account back.

So I wanna create a new account now. I have the following questions:
  • What is the best way to create this new account? New device? New IP?
  • Can I use my old (first/last) name?
  • Can I use my DOB?
  • Can I use (new) pictures?
  • Is it wise to be active in the first days or is it better to wait a bit till the account ages?
I've only had 90 friends on my previous Facebook and I wasn't member of any group. The only thing I want is to keep in touch with family.

Thanks :)

Hi, as your previous account was blocked for breaking FB copyright issues and as you said you just want to recreate this account that you can stay in touch with your family, you should then follow the steps below:

1. Use your mobile phone (FB app) to recreate the new account and use your 3G/4G mobile data plan
2. Exchange your first and last name (the first name becomes the last name - the last name becomes the first name)
3. You can use the same DOB
4. Use a different picture which was never uploaded to facebook before for your FB profile picture (make a new selfie picture)
5. It is advised to be active in the first days, but don't start to add all your 90 friends within few hours to your friend list and don't spam with comments or likes of dozen of pages - you need to warm up your account

Thanks! I made the account with a new device and IP. When can I start using my own device again (if I clear cache and cookies) ?

Ok so far the account is still alive. Already have like 30 friends and I'm sending some friend requests everyday and like posts etc.
I'm still using my 4G + new device to access the account for a while. How long until I can use my old device / IP? And can I just access it from there or should I do something like remove cookies?

And what happens if I change my name back to the one I used for my old account?
