Recovering/Retriving Legacy aged YouTube channels

YouTube channels made before 2010 are not linked to a Google account. This is because YouTube was a separate entity before merging with Google.

Google made linking the YouTube channels with Google account manadatory. The channels which are not yet linked are called legacy accounts.
These channels can be recovered if both username(channel user ID) and password is available.

I have username of the channel but unfortunately forgot the password to few of my channels.
Is there any way to recovery them without password?

are you still using the same machine? same phone number? if not.. its hard to recover the channels.

Sadly, No.
 
It's not possible sadly, I was in the same situation a year ago, and I couldn't retrieve any of my old channels!

That's unfortunate. I am trying to contacting YouTube twitter. I know it probably won't work, but just a shot.
