Recovering from demontization

so my channel got recently demonized, for reused content....

has anyone recovered and got their channel monetization back, after reapplying in 30 days like they mentioned?
if yes please what steps did you take and did you delete all your videos? and made new ones?

When u applied for monetization, did you still have those stream compilations?

How long did it take YT to approve the monetization then?

I've noticed this has been happening to a lot of channels, even ones where it's pretty tough to figure out what exactly YT means by their reasoning.

Very frustrating that YT does this because you have no idea what videos to delete–and even if you sift through and remove a lot of your videos there's no guarantee that they'll even review your channel to get monetization within a reasonable time frame or accept your reapplication. These flagged channels could just end up in limbo for months or even years with no direction on how to fix them. This is a disaster of a system they have going on now.

If you have reason to believe your reused content violation was for copyrighted material that has a license available, try purchasing the rights then dispute it providing evidences of purchase. If you're really paranoid, you could try photoshopping the date on the license to a date before you uploaded the video.

I dont understand i waited 5 month for monetization... they approved me tell me it compiles with their policies 6 month later they channel demontize me.......

why make me waste so much energy and time when they are going to drop me from their ypp me like i never existed
at least tell me what videos they don't like to see. they just give a vague reused content bs

I invesed so much in this channel. time and money i will never get back.
and i havent even made 1$ from it

unfortnietly right when I was about to blow up i get demonetized......

Oh damn...that gives me a headache just thinking about it. Sorry to hear that.

Revoking digital property over such vague issues/bans seems to be the MO for a lot of sites lately. Start fresh in the meantime, this time with a system in place to prevent a similar collapse. For example, building a large email list is still incredibly valuable in 2019–maybe even more so now because it reaches your target's inbox without any sorting algorithms (that almost all social media now) hiding your content from a huge chunk of your followers.

A client of mine in a botanical niche has managed to retain 80% of his store's customers despite moving websites 3 times, a task that would be nearly impossible without a channel that you're 100% in control of, such as email.

Attractive content and deals during good times to keep open rates up, avoiding being spammy or constantly trying to hard sell. Then, send the links to updates and offers when launching something new or moving your content due to issues. As long as they always have a daily-weekly plug to your business, that hard work you put into building your next project should always retain some value during times of losses.
