Recovering a hijacked Twitter account?

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if any BHW members have ever successfully recovered a hijacked Twitter account. My main twitter account was hijacked a few weeks ago and I had nearly 5,000 followers. The hijacker changed the password and the e-mail address of the account so I can't use the automated password recovery. I e-mailed Twitter support multiple times and never got a response, I posted in a Twitter help forum but recieved nothing but replies of people in the same boat as me. I even went as far as calling the phone number that shows up on the Twitter.com domain whois and left a message. I still have not been able to recover my account.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!

Did you even read my post? I clearly stated that I contacted Twitter multiple times in multiple different ways. I sincerely doubt you have been given authority to comment on behalf of the entire BHW community, I see no sense in posting a reply if you don't have anything to contribute to the discussion.

I think the question he is asking is: how does he hack a twitter account... wouldnt mind being able to do that myself lol... someone drop a clue...

Let me rephrase this question - "How do I hack a Twitter account?"

I had three of my accounts hijacked around the 4th and I just asked for a password re-set and it was sent to my original email I set the account up with and I was able to re-set it...If you set the account up with a bogus email or forgot the email.....u are screwed!
