I used to be really bad at recording backlinks and analyzing my data, in fact for years I was doing random link building, depending on what I'd read or how I was feeling on any given day. I'm sure you can imagine the situations I have ended up in because of this, an example being hundreds of live backlinks that I have totally forgotten about and have no way of finding, that could be harming my sites.

So I recently put a spreadsheet together for me and the team I work with to keep track of everything we do offsite and keep us all on the same page.

It's so easy to just make/buy some links and forget about them, perhaps using majestic or ahrefs to find them if you ever need to, but this isn't ideal and makes it very hard to keep track of your offsite strategy, and more importantly, makes it hard to identify where you are going wrong when the next update hits.

The analytical side of SEO is easy to ignore but I guarantee it's something you should be looking at, if not for exact numbers then for overall trends.

I guarantee if you aren't organised regarding your SEO strategy, you WILL eventually regret it. You will have no idea what works and what doesn't, and you won't know what caused that boost you had last week (however you might think you do, and start spouting nonsense, welcome to the world of SEO).

Hope this spreadsheet helps at least one of you get on top of your offsite (if you aren't already).

Many a time, things are not organized the way they should and when it's time to find them, it becomes even more difficult.

Thanks OP, this will absolutely help in my next plan.

Looks ok, thanks for sharing! I like it how the percentage updates itself automatically when you add ********/nofollow...nice to keep track of that ratio.

We are internet marketer. We work with computers. Its a numerical world.

If you don't keep track of your backlinks, sooner or later you will regret it. If there is one element I have seen in all successful people in IM, it would be Being Organized

Hi, OP: can you please reupload? Thanks!
