I would appreciate your help.
Any suggestion how to approach record marketing is welcomed.
We are a new label that has 2 records out now. They both should appeal to people who are into electronic music, sci fi, 80s ... We had really good exposure and were covered by media for both releases but it doesn't reflect the sales. I'm not talking 1000 + copies. We are doing limited 500 and we sold half of it but are stuck with the rest. Our social media is slowly growing (facebook page, twitter, soundcloud, instagram, youtube ...). Our Big cartel links are available on all our social media. We have also worked with PR agency for our second release and it was bloody expensive but didn't help the sales and it also left us with limited funds.
I have also tried a service recommended here that "sends facebook and twitter signals" which was crap because all we got was a share on someones page with approx 200 likes from kids mostly from Brazil and all the other products were some home appliances and similar. Of course we didn't sell a single record.
