I'm looking for recommendations for a local seo provider for site that is listed in google local listings. Not sure if local seo is the same as organic or how different they are, but I'm looking for something that is purely white hat. Any recommendations or suggestions are welcomed

There are a few good providers here, Nigel is very good on local seo. If your looking for a great service, seek out Ben from Directory Bug.

Techsan knows what he is doing. My main advice would be to avoid blackhat services as they can actually send you backwards over the long term.
