Which webhosts do you guys usually use to host your sites? My current host is constant down so I am looking to change hosts over the next couple of days. I am aware of hostgator but I want to know of some more reliable hosts

If you want great support,
Try Hostwinds.com
I am with them since a year and they are pretty good.

Hostgator for shared hosting. JaguarPC for VPS & dedicated servers.

If your looking for free ones these 2 are really great :-
000webhost.com and 0fees.net

Many of my smaller sites use HostGator's baby plans. Never had a problem with them in the last 5-6 years.

Arvixe is cheap and good, everything unlimited. I bought it at a blackfriday so had to pay just $2/mo for life and a free domain, normally it's cheap as well with just $4/mo. I'm running 6 sites with just one host and have seen nothing bad with this host, their customer service is very good and fast as well. Some other hosts are good too like dreamhost or hostgator or godaddy but they are a bit more expensive.

I am hosting my own site on a VPS monthly there are a lot of hosts willing to give you a good uptime even for a cheap price

If you are clean user and would like hosting with good uptime you could pm me.

I've been using 00webhost for near 2 years and if you plan have webtraffic they'll ban your web for 24 hours because "you waiste too much CPU resources" so they suggest you pay a quote if you don't want your web down every 48 hours.

I've just bought a Baby plan from Hostgator and I couldn't be happier. I've been with a webhosting company that didn't allow me to use FTP, and I didn't have a cPanel access either, so I was limited on so many good stuff out there. Then I started doing some research and found that 80% would advice to use hostgator, 10% advice on Bluehost, 10% advice on other companies.

And let me tell you, the comparision between my old Hosting company and hostgator is not even close, specially the support, Hostgator support is superb, It's so good that I get an instant answer to everything related to my hosting, unlike my old company which takes exactly 24 hours to responde to one basic question.

Not to mention they have the service which called "Migrating your websites" they are on the process right now to move my two sites from my old hosting to theirs as we speak, without me doing anything. All I have to do is wait, and my sites are still up and running from the previous hosting, and will be up and running in the new one with zero downtime.

Goodluck!
