Try the detailed harvester. It will give you endless retries. The thing is that your pulling from a pool of proxies and there is a rotation time limit. So they are rotating every 5 mins. So if you get some scrapes and then run the ips out after 2 mins, your going to have to wait 3 more mins till you get new ips. That assumes the ips were not blocked in the first place, which undoubtedly some are. So you can either slow it down to the point that your staying steady and not getting the ips banned straight away, by lowering connections and possibly using the detailed harvester with a delay, or you can just use the detailed harvester and it will tirelessly retry proxies until it finds one that works. So it will work, but it just may take a while. Let it run while you sleep.

These days google is tight. So you either have to fork over a small fortune for proxies or be smart and patient.
So what i realized is that i really only have issues with scrapebox when harvesting urls specifically for contact for submission whether that be from a custom footprint or just the default platforms. If i harvest urls using footprints looking for shopify stores or blog or literally anything that's not a contact form page the harvester works relatively fine.

That being said lately i've been trying to use scrapebox mainly for contact form submission but i saw a thread that mentioned GSA Contact Submitter and I saw your video on the website.

Would it be better to use gsa for finding and posting to contact forms or like harvest urls using scrapebox for keywords like "realtors new york"(as an example) and then put those in gsa to find and post to the forms?

Honestly just looking to better utilize contact form submission along side my cold email campaigns so if gsa is better than scrapebox for that i'll just get gsa. Just thought id ask your opinion on which would be better since i heard your voice in the video

I always use scrapebox for harvesting everything for multiple reasons. Not the least of which is its fast, efficient, easy and I can run unlimited instances of it so its not tying up anything program wise.

Even if I am using a different program that can get the data, I get the data with scrapebox, and bring that data into the other program and let the other program do whatever it is that Im not doing in scrapebox and focus there.

In the case of website contact, scrapebox has the ability to be trained on the vast majority of these forms and submit to them. The exception really is scrapebox does not do recaptcha and website contact does, but I don't do recaptcha anyways - however thats another story as to why.

Anyway, the benefit of website contact, primary that I see, is that it has all the platforms built in, so your buying time. Meaning look at all scrapebox can do, and yet website contact only does like .01% of what scrapebox can do, but it costs more then scrapebox, why?

The value in website contact is the time it would take to train scrapebox on all the various platforms that come by default with website contact. Website contact is focused on 1 thing, sending contact forms and to that end, it can submit to exponentially more forms out of the box, then scrapebox does, but costs more then scrapebox and does exponentially less then what scrapebox does.

So the value proposition is your paying for someones time who took the time to train website contact on all the various platforms. I can't say if thats worth it for you or not, thats up to you, but Im always a fan of buying time when its at a reasonable cost.

With scrapebox the intent of the developer was that users would train their own contact forms, and they built the platform to send and then some example forms to get users going.

Website contact also supports recaptcha, if thats something you want. It has a few other nice things, like importing a CSV, which I also never do, but I could see the value of that if you had that data and wanted to use it, if you used it well.

So in short, scrapebox, IMHO, can dance circles around the scraping inside of website contact and then you can still fire up another instance of scrapebox to do something else. Further I like the filtering in scrapebox for large lists (which I pretty much exclusively work with large/massive lists) better then website contact, as its quick and simple, however clearly your getting a benefit of time savings of training forms with website contact.

I certainly would never use just website contact, as I need to go faster then that, so really I say why choose? Ill use 10 tools if thats the best way to get to the end result. In this case I see them as complimentary tools, scrapebox is fast and simple, and lets you use unlimited instances, for what it does, scraping, filtering etc.. Website contact is pretrained on forms and thus can submit to more forms out of the box.

So thats my 2 cents.

I would definitely continue to use scrapebox even if i got website contact because i use scrapebox for a few other reasons as well. How does scrapebox pair with website contact? Are you harvesting the raw urls like "business123.com" then bringing that over to website contact or are you finding the contact us pages like "business123.com/contact" then bringing those urls over to website contacts. Ive already seen the price of website contact im just trying to get a better understanding of how the two would work together to submit more contact forms before I buy it. The main reason i want it is because of the issues i had with scrapebox that we spoke about above, and i really only seem to have those problems when harvesting contact forms using the default platforms or footprints like these
"Your information" "Your message" "subject" "contact"

"Your Name (required)" "Your Email (required)" "Subject" "Your Message" inurl:contact

using just "inurl: contact" works half decent also harvesting the main website url then using the link extractor to find the contact page works just fine too.

Im just wondering if that other program would make it easier to help solve these issues because the platforms are already trained

I think your contact form harvesting issue is about the footprints. your using advanced footprints and those queries are just being blocked and your other footprints are not. Here is a video

I would use scrapebox to scrape for the domains. Website contact can already identify the contact us page and has a large list of footprints built into to do that, again your buying time there. you could build your own list, but its already done.

I also would use scrapebox to scrub newly harvested lists against old lists so your only putting unqiue lists into website contact, or at least removing duplicates with scrapebox. I would also use scrapebox for scrubbing against a blacklist and/or opt out list prior to loading into website contact.

yeah i decided to buy it. Its only been a few hours but so far i like it. Quick question though

My yellow pages scraper harvested like 60k entries then froze i usually export as a csv but it just went to the auto save file as text this time since i wasn't able to hit stop & export.....would you happen to know of a way to convert that data to csv?

just renamte it from .txt to .csv and you should be good. scrapebox works with the .txt file, but it saves the data as if its a csv and really its just an extension.

You should be able to even import it into excel and set the delimiter and be good too, assuming you rename it.

Use GSA Captcha Breaker or Xevil to emulate a captcha service that is supported by Scrapebox. I believe you can also use 2captcha.com

Sorry for maybe a stupid question, but anyway :anyway: : I am thinking to order a Scrapebox licence, and I have the GSA Captcha Breaker already. Will it be working with both programs simultaneously (GSA and Scrapebox), or I have to buy one more Captcha Breaker? Thanks!

Search for something called Shanes Tools, it has more features to it!

captcha breaker works with Scrapebox.

Thank You!
Your welcome. Just emulate a service scrapebox supports and you should be good. If you run into issues make sure you don't have old files in your hosts file that are sending your requests off somewhere else.

Do you use GSA captcha breaker? ive been using the contact form submitter for about a week now and its nice but im getting a alot of "captcha error no captcha service" so im looking for a recommended captcha service to use as i have zero experience with captcha services.

Also if i do get a captcha solver would it go back and retry the previously failed submissions? because i see checkbox that says retry to submit to previously failed submissions but it doesn't seem to do anything once i check it

GSA Captcha Breaker can send the unsolved captchas to third-party online services. There are lots of them that Captcha Braker can send to. You just need to get the API key and input it into the app. I've even left the option to solve the failed captchas by myself at the back-end and sometimes am solving the failed captchas when working on a desktop. But indeed, there are no ideal solutions. Certainly, you will have a number of unsolved captchas anyway. Especially if you face with reCAPTCHA from Google...

Im not sure how the check box works, but you could export the failed and reimport them.

Yes I use captcha breaker for everything. It doesn't do recaptcha of course, but I don't really try to solve recaptcha anyway, i always lowered my click thru rates so I left off of it.

Do the GSA captcha breaker work well? I am considering buy Xevil or GSA CB
It works well for what it is yes. I mean it doesn't solve recaptcha basically. Xevil is more complex and does more but is harder to work with and more expensive. So it kind of depends on what you need.

GSA Captcha Breaker is the best service. You can connect it with the Scrapebox tool.
