I'm seeking recommendations. Any information would be great! I'm opening a personal graphic design business/portfolio and online community. Any suggestions? :)

For domains I used to use GoDaddy, but am gradually transferring everything to namecheap.com . Their web interface is much easier to use (GD's is downright confusing), they don't constantly try to sell you stuff, they too offer coupon codes (i always google for "namecheap promo codes" or "namecheap coupon" then try the newest coupons. Never had to pay full price), and they offer free private registration (almost $10 at GD).

For hosting I always use Hostgator. Very reliable hosting (negligable downtime), offers a lot for the price, the best service I found from a host.

    Cheers,
    Brad

Excellent information! I was looking at godaddy and namecheap. Hostgator's new to me thanks! Especially for the information about coupons. I'll look into those! :)

Another vote for Namecheap. My last 10 or so domain registrations have been with them. July coupon code is FIREWORKS, so a .com is comes to $8.80 or so if I remember correctly.

Netfirms are great for domain names @ 6.99 each with the coupon 104DOMSPECIAL.

    Hosting? Hostgator for sure.
