If anyone has any experience or recommendations for registering the TLD's:

    .com.au
    .ie
    .ca

I would appreciate the help and direction. One problem I have been running into with .com.au is that you have to have a business in Australia which I do not. Is there a way around this?

    Thanks!

That is a very good point that I did not even think of! What I am doing is more for international marketing for a business but the .ie / IE connection is related to the products so it will be a plus too. I finally got the .com.au problem lined out after jumping through some hoops (they dont like foreign registrations) but .ca I still haven't. How can a US citizen get a .ca domain? Does anyone know someplace that can pull it off for me?

i know this is an old thread but the info could be handy for someone else.
to have a business in Australia you need to have an ABN
it a simple process which you can do online and it's free ;)
