Hi,

I know the latest Google algorithm update is over, as I've read it on a big SEO news site.

My business website is not doing well, as you can see from the below screenshot:

What I've done:
  • optimized the website speed last week, it's loading faster now.
  • no backlink building since last 2-3 months.
  • on-page optimization has been done for all pages.
  • content is a mix of human written, and AI + human editing content. Most articles are over 1000+ words in length.
  • the website is about 4 years old.
What do you recommend I should do with the website, in terms of SEO? build more niche-targeted links, digital PR, etc.?

Thank you.

Yeah @Boriss , since you’ve already handled speed and on-page SEO, the missing piece now is authority growth through external links.

I recommend focusing on:
  • Brand mentions & authority links: Build trust signals that Google values post-update.
  • Niche-targeted guest posts & edits: It drives both relevance and real traffic, not just backlinks.
  • Local SEO (if applicable): Optimizing your Google Business Profile (GMB) for reviews, citations, and engagement can push your visibility for local searches.
The algorithm updates have shifted weight toward link quality + traffic potential, so a mix of guest posts, niche edits, and branded mentions will give your site the authority boost it’s lagging.

Curious to know what execution ideas you have in mind right now, then it’s easier to align the right approach.

Why do you think there are any problems with your site? There are updates related to impressions within Top100. Clicks seem fine, so just go on with quality content and backlinks

I think you have checked few boxes already to be able to experience Decent Growth!
1 - AGE
2 - Onpage (Content, Techncal issues etc)
3 -- Missing factor --- "Did not build links from last 2-3 months"

Build Community links(Forum comments on good sites, Get Niche Relevant links from Real Traffic websites, Build foundational links for all of your inner pages)
Fix the 3rd point and surely you will see Results!

Are your pages getting indexed? If not, what percentage of the pages are?
Are you ranking for any of the keywords you're targeting?

If it's not penalized, it's simply a lack of authority,
Building authority needs some investments in links generally (as long as you're getting your on-page in point),
You won't magically outrank competitors by taking care of the website speed, taking care of the content, etc... you need to invest, it's a business

It seems you are concentrating on the technology and you have it covered

How many articles on your site ? How many categories ? Products, Info or both?

What about the experience ?

Is it a membership site to build a community ?

Do you use Buddypress or Peepso to build a REAL community ?

Do people have a reason to return day after day ?

Does it periodically look new and different ? Photos ? Color ?

Do you give away free things like the PLRs at FireLaunchers or PLRDatabase net?

Do you have an "Authority" PDF book to give away ? Is it available in paperback on Amazon ?

Do you use Rafflepress to have periodic raffles to give away merch ?

Do you have brand ambassadors to shill your products ?

Do you have affiliates to promote your products?

At least once a month do you buy one of those SEO packages from the providers on BHW ?
You should consider a different package from a different provider each month

Do you periodically send out a press release when something cool happens on your site?

You only have ONE website ???? What about your Tier 2 sites that you also buy SEO packages for
that can promote your money site ?

Do you have a Youtube site with videos to promote your money site ?

What about all the other video sites - Rumble, Bitchute, Tiktok

Do you have a Pinterest site to promote your money site ?

Do you have your social media site content being displayed on your website ?

Do you have your website content being automatically pushed to your social sites ?

Are you using Wp Robot or CyberSEO to automatically bring new content to your site
when you don't have time to update it ?

Do you have your own PBN to promote your business?

You can also consider "competing against yourself". Create more "brands" that have more
websites and use each site to target a different demographic.

Organic Google is a small fraction of what you need.

Expand your reach and keep expanding

But the best way is always word of mouth from your customers

Sincerely,

The Eye
