Recommendation for Hosting

Hi,

Stumbled upon this site not too long ago and have been taking in the wealth of information.

I am currently starting my first site which will be selling sports betting picks.

I am looking for recommendations for hosting as there are so many options available. I've already registered the domain

Overall, the site will be fairly simple in the sense that it sells a subscription service to customers and also has sports articles. We've chosen clickbank and paypal to accept payments for our service(hopefully this was a good choice unless someone knows of a better one)

After the site is complete, I would be looking for people to help with the SEO/Advertising.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

If you are serious about your buisness start with serious hosting
Hostgator is one good hosting company there are many great companies in BHW marketplace you can try them also you will find lot of BHW exclusive discounts overthere

Def go with HostaGator, since your just starting out... once you are driving a good amount of traffic you can always upgrade to a higher package or even a VPS good luck!

If you happen to get more traffic in the future, I would recommend getting a vps from liquidweb. Great servers and top notch support!

Haven't had any issues with hostwinds for past 2 years, started with them and upgraded to their business hosting

Any idea if these hosts are PCI compliant? It seems to be a requirement by certain credit card processing companies to register with them to accept credit card payments.

My recommendation with HostGator. And stay away with GoDaddy hosting, they are really pathetic, your website will be slow and crashed often.
