Recommendation for a PC

Hey guys!

Looking for recommendations for a good quality desktop PC that would be good for developing and playing the odd game or two after the workday (Like rocket league)

Would need to be able to run programs such as adobe premiere and photoshop.

Any ideas on where to start?

Sounds about right.

Dont forget the GPU, especially if you plan to play games.

Oh and if you go for Ryzen you absolutely need an extea GPU, as Ryzen processors dont have integrated GPU (except i think the really high-end ryzens)

Okay mint, that's a good starting point. Trying to stay away from building my own PC and just getting something pre-built for now until I have the time to learn more on what I'd be configuring.

Sweet thanks, I'll keep that in mind for GPUs, saw a couple builds with Ryzen

it really depends on your budget. you can do all those things on a ryzen 3100x + gtx 1650 on lower settings
or all the way up to ryzen 5950x + rtx 3090 (if you could find one)
and one more thing. don't get intel cpus, they're kinda dead
 
Go for the ryzen 5900x and a 3080 rtx. They are pretty much out of stock tho...

OP said he played a game here and there and wanted to use adobe programs.

I'd say an i7, 16-32GBRAM and an SSD + some old graphic cards like 1660 Ti.

No need to spend 2000$ on a PC when you won't use it anywhere near it's full potential.
 
I personally use asus tuf gaming (was fan of rog but not that worth)
Ryzen 5 H processor 4th gen, with expandable ram and ssd. Works super smooth for me. I got it in 1k$

Haha yes amd ryzen giving a tough time to intel i series. But still cpu benchmark says intel slightly better. I dont believe them lol, if you wama buy amd, buy ryzen is what i would recommend
 
you should get good processor and graphics card
like as Ryzen 5 or 7

Exactly. Not sure why the rtx 30 series cards are even being recommended for the occasional ‘rocket league’. LOL
