recommendation for a dedicated host?

hey, I'm launching a new website and want to have a dedicated host,
can someone recommend me a good service for a reasonable price?

I'm going to run a PHP server so I suppose I'll a server with apache, and cpanel.
also, I guess it's better if the server would be located in the U.S., and needs to support http compression.
the nameserver would be ns.mydomain.com, right?
are there any other considerations?

In order to give you appropriate recommendation, it would be good to give us more info.

1. Managed VPS or not?
2. How much bandwidth ?
3. How many IPs ?
4. Size of HDD ?
5. Your budget ?

2. 30GB bandwith would be enough (probably even 10GB)
3. Preferrably more than one unique IP, but depends on the price difference.
4. Even Less than 1GB hdd would be enough
5. $40-$120 per month

And needs to be really fast and reliable, including 24/7 support (I don't know how to check and compare this though)
